Walk between the Litana forest and the centuriate plain

Sunday 26 May, from 10.00 to 12.30, Walk between the Litana forest and the centuriate plain: un evocative route, immersed in nature and tales of ancient battles.
At the end of the walk you can stop for lunch in the Acli Club to enjoy an original meal inspired by Roman foods together.

Departure and return: parish church of San Martino, Via Calisese, 401 – Calisese di Cesena.

PLAN
10.15am Departure from the Calisese cemetery car park. Walk of about 5 km in total, along a mixed path of dirt and short stretches of minor public road. Stop at Belvedere Albertini with spectacular views of the plain and story of the battle of Selva Litana. We continue in the San Michele valley among cultivated fields and orchards, with a stop at the World War II air raid shelter. Continue in the valley and descend towards the Pisciatello-Rubicone walking along the river bank, until returning to the parish church.
12.45pm Lunch in the Acli club of the church for members only.
The fee is paid on site to the persons in charge.
2.30pm Costume performance of the Adsignatio by the Terre Centuriate.
