Romagna Welfare on 4 October in Cesena

In a dynamic working context like the current one, the concept of “corporate welfare” emerges as a fundamental pillar for employee well-being. A trend is not random but driven by various factors that are redefining the corporate landscape: meal vouchers represent one of the most widespread benefits, with a current market valued at around 4 billion euros and over 4 million consumers involved, while the value of corporate welfare market has recorded notable growth, exceeding 6.5 billion euros in 2023, involving over 7.5/8 million employees and that of fringe benefits, often underestimated, is growing constantly, currently valued at around 2, 5 billion euros and expected to exceed 3 billion by 2024. Data that reflects a clear trend: investing in these solutions is crucial not only for the well-being of employees, but also for reducing the tax wedge.

All themes that will be at the center of Romagna Welfare on 4 October at the Cesena Fair, the unmissable biennial event on welfare which presents itself as a key moment to closely examine the adoption of these solutions in the territory, through the contribution of speakers from public sector, trade associations, unions and businesses. Promoted by Welfare Group and Mediatip, with the patronage of the University of Bologna, the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Anci (National Association of Municipalities) and all the trade, craft and tourism associations as well as the support of multinationals of the sector such as Epipoli and Toduba and of the cooperative world such as Cils from Cesena, the event will have a national preview at the end of September at the Chamber of Deputies in Rome, before the event on 4 October to which the 150 most representative companies of the territory.

Furthermore, this year, in collaboration with Federalberghi Rimini, the theme of tourism will also be addressed, a strategic sector for Romagna which, according to the organizers, still does not fully exploit the regulatory opportunities to reduce the tax wedge. The study preceding Romagna Welfare 2024 will involve numerous companies; the results of this study will be presented during the event, enriching the debate with concrete data and in-depth analyses.
