An achievement of absolute importance. The EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso make the jump to the A3 series and do so by imposing themselves in Reggio Calabria at the home of a Domotek who, never in their young volleyball history, had had to surrender within friendly walls and finishing in first place in the third pool of first phase with five points to his credit, one more than Grottaglie with the Calabrians, however, left at a standstill.
Faced with a team that is doing its utmost to try to obtain the best possible result in view of the second phase, coach Mariano Maniscalco’s Campobassani display a conduct of great substance.
The players from Reggio, in fact, played fully in both the first and second sets which saw the Campobassani come out with success in the sprint. In the third, Reggio Calabria prevails 25-17. We go to the fourth where the Campobasso players even take a three-point margin in some situations, with Reggio coming back and also having a set point at 24-23. Campobasso makes an impact and, on the second match point, closes the score with the opposite Zanettin, author of another monstrous performance in an evening in which the entire first diagonal makes sparks (director Zanni best arms all his exits: the side Pacelli and Rescignano and the central Minuti and Diana), all enhanced by the constant work in the second line of Marco Santucci.
