Starting today, Saturday 25 May, paid parking will return to the Pescara coast.
Therefore, to leave your car parked on the Pescara seafront you will have to pay.

The parking spaces on the city coast, 1,400 in total, will return to being free after Sunday 8 September.

Pescara Multiservice which manages the service provides all useful information and rates. Parking near the two rivieras will be organized in 8 areas, strategically identified by the municipal offices, to be reserved for paid parking: former Enaip area, Viale della Riviera nord area (sea side), Riviera nord area (mountain side) between the free beach near the “Hawaii” establishment and via Cadorna, Cristoforo Colombo seafront area (sea side), Cristoforo Colombo seafront area (mountain side), in the stretch between via Pepe and via Figlia di Jorio, La Meridiana area on the Cristoforo Colombo seafront , area between via Barbella and Cristoforo Colombo seafront, area of ​​via Barbella between via Pepe and Cristoforo Colombo seafront.

Parking from 1 euro, cash and POS payments

Parking rates are organized according to the following methods: 1 euro for 1 hour of parking, in each area; 3 euros for the whole day in the La Meridiana area and in the via Barbella area; 4 euros for the whole day in the former Enaip area; 5 euros for the whole day in the remaining areas along the northern coast and the southern coast. Parking will be paid from 8am to 7pm in all areas except the former Enaip area, where parking will be paid from 8am to 8pm. In the former Enaip area only, from 14 June to 31 August and for August 15th, a night time slot is also added: paid parking extends until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays, at a cost of 1 euro per hour up to the fourth hour, and 4 euros for the entire evening. To facilitate the service, 52 parking meters enabled for payment with electronic cards via POS device have been installed. Furthermore, the horizontal signs have been renewed in all parking areas, in particular in those of the former Enaip and via Barbella, careful maintenance and cleaning operations were carried out.

Subscriptions and discounts

To economically facilitate the users of the parking areas, the municipal administration has made it possible to subscribe to differentiated season tickets, depending on the needs and with discounts reserved for citizens residing in the city of Pescara: a weekly season ticket at a cost of 10 euros for areas of via Barbella and La Meridiana; a weekly pass at a cost of 15 euros for the areas of Viale della Riviera, Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo and former Enaip; a 30-day pass, reserved for residents, at a cost of 35 euros for the areas of La Meridiana and via Barbella, at a cost of 54 euros for the former Enaip area, and at a cost of 50 euros for all the remaining areas areas; a 60-day pass, reserved for residents, at a cost of 70 euros for the La Meridiana area, at a cost of 100 euros for the former Enaip and via Barbella areas, and at a cost of 80 euros for all the remaining areas. Subscriptions can be purchased on the Pescara Multiservice website or at the sales point in Piazza della Repubblica.
Furthermore, to ensure that an essential service is free of charge in the vicinity of one’s homes, a portion of parking on the mountain side of Viale della Riviera has been reserved as a priority for the availability of resident citizens (in the stretch between Via Mazzini and Viale della Riviera). Riviera n° 295) and the mountain side of the Cristoforo Colombo seafront (in the stretch between via Vespucci and via Pepe). Those entitled, upon request for authorisation, are identified on the basis of the criterion of the homes that overlook the areas in which paid parking is present. Furthermore, residents who hold season tickets for the aforementioned parking areas can include a second license plate in the same season ticket, an alternative to the first, through the specific portal on the Pescara Multiservice website. However, for the use of the aforementioned car parks, season tickets issued for the other city parking areas are not considered valid. Finally, to encourage the parking of hybrid and electric cars in circulation in the summer parking areas, as provided in all paid parking areas in the city, the following discounts are adopted: 50% reduction on the monthly car subscription hybrid; total exemption from the fee for electric cars.
