Pescara Jazz: the 52nd edition will start from 10th July

The oldest Jazz Festival in Italy returns to be talked about again with a 52nd edition of absolute prestige, as per tradition, but orphaned, for the first time, of the iconic setting of the Teatro d’Annunzio in Pescara.

Eleven events from 10 to 21 July, distributed from the Tourist Port, to the Cinema Massimo, with the best of the world’s Jazz scene on stage. After all, the marriage between the city of Pescara and Jazz has continued happily, with ups and downs, since 1969 and there is no artist in the world who does not want to tread those scenes already trodden by the greatest of all time at least once in his career. . This year, to make the program set up by the Artistic Director Angelo Valori for the Pescarese Events Authority even more captivating, also the pricing policy, which has never been so low, for the single event ranges from a minimum of 15 to a maximum of thirty euros, and for season tickets from 100 to 150 euros. It starts on Wednesday 10 July with a double concert at the Arena del Porto Turistico with the Bokantè group followed by the Ada Montellanico Quintet. Among the most prestigious events are July 15th with the legendary Take 6 (natural heirs of Manhattan Transfer) together with the Medit Orchestra; on July 17th Chiara Civello and on July 18th the legendary Terence Blanchard. There is also a rich offer regarding the best emerging artists, one of which is the Brazilian pianist Amaro Freitas on 20 July at the Arena del Porto Turistico of Pescara.
