After starting with the concert on Saturday 18 May at the Cappella Palatina in conjunction with the European Night of Museums, special guest Simon Zhu, Paganini Prize 2023, the Mozartian Spring at the Palace Of Caserta goes on Saturday 25 May at 5.30 pm with the concert ofChamber Orchestra of Casertadirected by Antonino Cascio and with the participation of the oboist Hyun Jung Song, established himself in 2023 at the International Oboe Competition in Tokyo and “in residence” at the Academy of the Berliner Philarmoniker. On the program are the Divertimento n.3 KV 138 and the famous concert in C major KV 314 for oboe and orchestra, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the Symphony n.82 / the Bear by Franz Joseph Haydn. Composed in 1786 in Esterhazy, the Symphony is listed as the first of six symphonies.”Parisians” by Haydn, so called because they were commissioned by “Les Concerts de la Loge Olympique” in Paris, and performed there in 1787 with resounding success. There Mozartian Spring at the Vanvitellian Palace will continue in June with three concerts by the Orchestra’s ensembles; on the program are chamber transcriptions of symphonic pieces – a very widespread practice at the time, for a domestic dimension of “making music” -, entertainment for the Harmonie Ensemble and concerts by Neapolitan authors of Mozart’s era.
From the Royal Palace of Caserta the Mozart Spring will also spread “in Terra Laboris… on the path of Mozart”an ideal revival of Mozart’s presence in Terra di Lavoro in May 1770: Friday 24 May to Aversa at the Church of S. Antonio with the recital Hyun Jung Song And Sunday 26 May at 10.45 am Capua at the Church of S. Domenico with the replica of the concert of the Chamber Orchestra of Caserta and Hyun Jung Song.
The concerts at the Palatine Chapel of the Royal Palace of Caserta are included in the ordinary cost of the entrance ticket or subscription to the Site while seats last, while those in the Province are free to enter.
