Reggi confirmed as vice president of the Emilia Romagna Foundations

The president of the Piacenza and Vigevano Foundation, Roberto Reggi, was reconfirmed in the role of vice president of the Association of Banking Foundations of Emilia-Romagna. In recent days, the process of renewing the framework of bodies called upon to administer the Association for the next two years, which brings together the nineteen entities present in the regional context, was completed. “Collaboration between the bodies of our territory is an important tool to encourage the creation of a network that leads to the sharing of experiences and the mutual exchange of good practices, but also and above all to develop shared solidarity interventions in the event of emergencies affecting the regional and national territory”, comments President Reggi. The Association is in fact able to fulfill the role of operational instrument of Acri, the organization that collectively represents the banking foundations and the Casse di Risparmio Spa. An example of this is the task carried out directly in preparing an intervention plan and in coordinating the use of the extraordinary contribution of one and a half million euros in favor of the populations affected by the flood that hit the Emilia-Romagna territory in 2023, a contribution allocated by the Acri Executive Committee from the National Fund for Common Initiatives and established to provide a prompt response to emergency situations.

Furthermore, yesterday was the news of the allocation of over 2.3 million euros by Italian Foundations for solidarity interventions in Tuscany, in the areas affected by last November’s flood. Acri had approved one million euros in response to the appeal launched by the Council of Tuscan Foundations: further donations arrived from other Councils, including the Association of Foundations of Emilia-Romagna. Thus, 2,384,200.00 euros were reached for the direct benefit of the most affected communities (provinces of Prato, Pistoia, Livorno, Pisa and Florence) with interventions ranging from support to families to the redevelopment of places of aggregation, from the renovation of Third Sector organizations for the purchase of emergency vehicles and more.

With the renewal, the current framework of the bodies of the Association of Banking Foundations of Emilia-Romagna is composed as follows: Maurizio Gardini – Fondazione Cassa dei Risparmi di Forlì has been confirmed as president of the Executive Committee, the vice-presidents are Roberto Reggi – Piacenza and Vigevano Foundation and Matteo Tiezzi – Cassa di Risparmio di Modena Foundation. The governance also includes Ernesto Giuseppe Alfieri – Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna Foundation, Raffaella Cavicchi – Cassa di Risparmio di Cento Foundation, Franco Magnani – Cariparma Foundation, Patrizia Pasini – Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna Foundation, Pierluigi Stefanini – Monte di Bologna Foundation and Ravenna, Carmen Vandelli – Cassa di Risparmio di Vignola Foundation.
