“Raccontiamoteramo”, the IC project “Savini – San Giuseppe – San Giorgio” returns – ekuonews.it

TERAMO – “Raccontiamoteramo” of the “Savini – San Giuseppe – San Giorgio” Comprehensive Institute is back, the historic project that aims to discover the historical-archaeological heritage of our city, carried out in collaboration with the Educational Service of the City of Teramo Museum Complex.

There are two final events that they will take place throughout the day on Friday 24 May 2024 and will involve students and teachers of the fifth classes of primary schools and of the first and second classes of lower secondary schools.

During the morning, from 9.30 to 12.30, the students of the “F. Savini” secondary school will try their hand as young guides in reading the historical, artistic and urban planning of the city, illustrating to visitors, passers-by and curious are the sites and buildings studied as part of the project: Villa Comunale, Art Gallery, Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, Church of Ss. Annunziata, archaeological site of Largo Sant’Anna, Church of Sant’Anna de’ Pompetti, Church of Sant’Antonio, Sanctuary of Madonna delle Grazie.

In the afternoon, from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm, the students of the “San Giuseppe”, “San Giorgio” and “C.Sarti” primary schools will be happy to welcome visitors to the “San Giorgio” primary school, which for the occasion it will host the exhibition-competition “Viaggio nelle domus”. Specifically, it will be possible to admire the mosaics created by the studentswho were inspired by the technique and models of the Roman era, and discover the secrets of the Roman domus of our city.
