An award in memory of Elisa

New award for Passaggi Festival. From this edition, in addition to the existing ones, the “Elisa Mascarucci” award (pictured) will be awarded, dedicated to the memory of the young woman from Fano, who passed away suddenly in 2020, at just 24 years old. The Prize will be awarded every year to the best children’s workshop organized as part of the festival. The winner will be chosen by a special commission, which will take into account the opinions of parents and children, as well as the educational and creative value of the workshop itself. The Elisa Mascarucci award was established in agreement with parents Gianfranco and Mariella to remember Elisa Mascarucci’s life, commitment and passion for children. “Elisa was a special girl, full of life and enthusiasm – declared the director of Passaggi Festival, Giovanni Belfiori – she loved children and had an innate talent for involving and exciting them. With this award we want to remember her and give continuity to her commitment” . The workshops for children, which have always been a central element of Passaggi Festival, this year will be held in three different locations: the Mediateca Montanari, the Pincio and Bagni Torrette. They will be organized by the University of Camerino, by the Montanari Media Library as part of the ‘Born for Reading’ and ‘Born for Music’ programs and by the Biscottificio Frolla of Osimo, a reality that combines passion for pastry making and social inclusion.
