The art of Salvina Di Mauro, a former student of the artistic high school, travels from Vasto to Foggia

VAST. Salvina Di Mauroa former student of the artistic high school of the “Pantini – Pudente” high school in Vasto, took part in the creation of the work “It’s time to fly”, installed in the waiting room of the Gino Lisa airport in Foggia.

Together with the sculptor Pietro De Scisciolo, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts and fellow student Michela Cicciomessere, the young girl from Vasto brings home a great artistic result.

In Apricena stone with the addition of other stone materials, the installation, a gift from the members of the Inner Wheel Club of Foggia, who promoted the “Si ripArte” project, aimed at promoting art in Capitanata, was inaugurated two days ago in the presence of the general director of Aeroporti di Puglia Marco Catamerò and the Foggia member of the ADP board of directors, Vania Romano.

Represented are colored pencils pointing upwards, symbolically evoking the desire to fly and aspire to ever new perspectives.

A valid cultural initiative which the Vasto student of the Academy can proudly include in her portfolio of experiences, taking the education she received at the Vasto school, the pride of our territory, far afield.
