Delays and limitations for a maintenance intervention, replacement buses expected

Due to maintenance work, scheduled by RFI at Roma Termini, from approximately 11.30am to 2.30pm on Friday 24 May, some regional trains on the FL5 Roma – Civitavecchia and FL4 Roma Albano Laziale/Frascati lines may undergo timetable changes and route limitations.

The works will also have repercussions on the circulation of Leonardo express trains and on high-speed connections from Genoa and Milan towards Rome and from Venice towards Fiumicino airport.

In detail:

  • Frecciarossa trains 8566 and 8569 Rome Termini – Fiumicino Airport and vice versa are cancelled;
  • The Frecciarossa train 9411 Venice Santa Lucia – Fiumicino Airport ends the journey at Rome Termini (arrival 1.25pm);
  • The Frecciarossa train 9423 Fiumicino Airport – Venice Santa Lucia originates from Rome Termini (departure 2.35pm);
  • The Frecciabianca train 8605 Genova Piazza Principe – Roma Termini ends the journey in Roma Ostiense (arrival 11:55);
  • The Frecciabianca train 8620 Rome Termini – Genoa – Milan Centrale originates from Rome Ostiense (departure 2:00 pm);
  • Some Regional trains of the FL5 Rome-Civitavecchia line are canceled between Rome Ostiense and Rome Termini;
  • Regional trains 4500, 12580, 4132, 4134 and 4129 are limited to/originating in/from Roma Tuscolana;
  • Some regional trains of the FL4 line Rome-Albano Laziale and Rome-Frascati are limited to/originating in/from Rome Tuscolana or Ciampino;
  • Regional Leonardo express connections are cancelled. Bus service planned.

The seats available on buses, which will increase their travel times also in relation to road traffic, may be lower than the normal service offered. Bikes are not permitted on buses and large animals are not permitted except guide dogs for the blind.

Trenitalia’s purchasing channels are updated.
