Savona. Savona re-embraces the traditional Santa Rita Fairin the area of ​​the same name in the Oltreletimbro district, and as per tradition the stalls appeared in the streets with their many colors, merchandise and perfumes.

The protagonists of the day are, like every year, roses, flowers that have always been associated with Santa Rita and a symbol of beauty and pain. The church doors are open from 8am blessing of the roses it will take place in rotation throughout the day until 7pm.

As part of the anniversary, the Oltreletimbro Neighborhood Committee continues the “OltreFest” cycle of events. On Tuesday 21 May at 3pm in the Santa Rita Church the students of the Guidobono School will perform in a concert. At 9pm in the hall of the nearby Caritas canteen, in via Edmondo De Amicis 4, Teatro 21 and Teatro Viaggiante will propose the show “TO The Old Man”.

At 6 pm, still in the canteen hall, Professor Santino Nastasi will hold a conference on the theme “When roses meet art. The role and meanings of roses in human history”, organized by the La Rosiera association. Entrances will be free of charge to support the activities of the committee.

In order to allow the event to take place throughout the day, there are some in the neighborhood traffic changes: Via Collodi is closed to vehicular traffic in the stretch between Corso Ricci and Via Sera, Piazza della Consolazione, Via Tasso, Via De Amicis and Via Aleardi.

They are also scheduled for today changes to bus lines. Here are the changes to local public transport: the buses of line 2/, arriving on the via Luigi Corsi bridge, will turn left into Corso Viglienzoni, Corso Tardy and Benech, Via Giuseppe Giusti and then resume the regular route; lines 58 and 61 (which, following the route changes, normally pass through Via Collodi), after the bridge in Via Luigi Corsi will turn left into Corso Viglienzoni, Corso Tardy and Benech, Via Pirandello and then resume the regular route.
