Thanks to the agreement signed by Poste Italiane, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, citizens resident or domiciled in the Polis municipalities will be able to open the application process for or renew a passport by presenting the documentation directly at the post office, without having to go to the police station, with the possibility of receiving your passport at home.
Through the technological platform of Poste Italiane, the counter operator will collect the information and biometric data of the citizen (fingerprints and photos) and then send the documentation to the relevant police office. Upon request, the new passport can be delivered by Poste Italiane directly to the applicant’s home.
