TREVISO – Expelled and boarded a flight to Lagos two Nigerians aged 29 and 31 who were detained in Treviso. For both, sentenced to definitive prison terms, imprisonment was replaced with definitive expulsion from Italy.

Expelled from Italy, who are they?

The twenty-nine year old, who landed in Sicily in 2015, had committed various crimes in the provinces of Padua and Venice and was arrested after a robbery in January 2023. The 31-year-old, who also arrived irregularly on a boat in 2014, had actively joined an organization dedicated to the importation and trafficking of drugs, with criminal interests consolidated in the areas surrounding the Mestre railway station. Arrested twice, he was sentenced to 4 years and 4 months in prison.
