On Tuesday 21 May, at 9pm, the Cardinal Massaia square will be transformed into a stage: the show “Lights, shadows and reflections…The courage to live” will be performed, a story of the experiences and emotions felt by those who have experienced oncological disease. The initiative was conceived and implemented by the ASL AT with the Fragile Families Protection Project, in view of the National Cancer Patient Day which is celebrated on May 25th.
The show, directed by Emanuela Paccagnan, former employee of the ASL AT, will offer readings taken from the text “Ospite” by Loredana Corsello with poems by Wislawa Szymborska. Readings and pieces will be proposed by Corsello herself, together with Emanuela Paccagnan and Bianca Vercelli. There will be music performed by Serena Correggia and Miriam De Giovanni and photographs by Francesco Moisio. Rebecca Grande will perform dance, presented by Ena Naranjo. The evening will be introduced by speeches from the ASL AT Management and the Complex Structures of Oncology and Clinical Psychology.
The employees of the ASL AT Roberto d’Angiò and Doriano Penso and the URP of the ASL AT contributed to the technical part of the setup.
