On the weekend of May 18/19, the International Open Chinese Martial Arts Championship took place in Perugia and, in the Chinese martial arts sector, the “Wei Hai” school followed by Maestro Pignataro Antonio, after the recent successes in Pordenone and Stockholm is still being talked about with this extraordinary success.
Medals won in the categories of Shaolin Kungfu and Chen Taijiquan: 14 Gold, 7 Silver and 4 Bronze.
The team was made up of 26 athletes, the youngest being only 6 years old, the eldest son Alessandro, the son of Master Pignataro, won a gold medal in the children 4-6 year category in Shaolin Kungfu.
Participants in the international “World Cka” tournament, European record 800 athletes; 51 sports clubs from all over Italy, Hungary, Morocco, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Mexico, Ukraine and France took part.
Very numerous and high level category organized by the Italy Cka, historic Perugian sports association, with the patronage of the Umbria Region, the Municipality of Perugia and the Umbria Coni.
The next commitment that will see the top athletes of the Tranese Wei Hai Team involved will be the Italian Cup (FIWUK) in Sanda in Bologna.
