Velletri – Luigi Magni and Lucia Mirisola Museum at the railway station: Filippi reassures on the progress of the works

“It is announced that after a long delay due to bureaucratic problems, the works for the completion of the new Luigi Magni and Lucia Mirisola museum at the railway station have resumed quickly and are coming to an end”. This was announced by the president of the Luigi Magni and Lucia Mirisola Museum Foundation, Alessandro Filippi.

In the disused areas of the Velletri station, granted on free loan to the Foundation, redevelopment works are underway to create exhibition areas.

“On this occasion I want to thank the Geom. Marco Silvagni who, faithful to his commitment to give the city of Velletri and the foundation (without any financial commitment for the latter except for utilities and insurance) a quality place where art and culture can be done, is making a huge effort to complete the work so much so that the inauguration is expected after the summer break.

Through this communication we want to reassure everyone that although the architect Umberto Magni renounced the direction of the works due to differences of opinion, the relationships between him and the rest of the Magni family and the Foundation continue to be excellent and collaborative in the common aim of cultivating the memory of Gigi and Lucia”.
