Rimini, here are the winning students of the hospitality competition

On 17 May, at the State Professional Institute for Hotel and Catering Services “SP Malatesta” in Rimini, an event of great importance was held: the internal competition “Perfect Hospitality and Mise en Place”. This competition involved 14 students from the 1st classes of Marebello and the Bellaria Igea Marina headquarters, who challenged each other in a series of tests that tested their skills in welcoming the customer and in the impeccable execution of the mise en place.

Before taking the practical tests, the students had to pass a written test, which assessed their knowledge and skills in the hospitality and catering sector. Subsequently, each student demonstrated their skills in front of a panel of external experts, composed of renowned professionals in the hospitality field.
Among these experts were the IMAHR International Vice President, Ennio Stocco, the President of the National FIB, Paolo Mascarucci, who boasts extensive experience as a Room Director in luxury hotels in Italy and abroad, and finally the Hotel Director Coral of Riccione, Silvano Turci.

After careful evaluations, the three students who achieved the best results were recognized as overall winners of the competition.
The first place was Diego Cobaj of class 1D, followed by Erika Vasi of class 1E in second place and Saliou Le Serigne of class 1F in third place.
All the young talents have demonstrated not only a great passion for the hospitality sector, but also a solid technical-professional preparation.

It is important to underline that the success of this event would not have been possible without the support and commitment of many people. Thanks to the Headmaster, Prof. Lorella Camporesi, to the teachers organizing the competition, Prof. Nicola Dimatteo and Prof. Monica Clivio, for having created such a precious opportunity for the students.
Furthermore, we want to express our gratitude to the students of the 5th A tourist reception class for participating in the event and contributing to its success. Finally, thanks go to the Ata staff and laboratory technical assistants for their precious logistical support.

In conclusion, the “Hospitality and Perfect Mise en Place” competition was a highly relevant event, which allowed students to showcase their skills and receive recognition for their commitment to the hospitality sector. We are proud of all the participating students and wish them a bright future in the profession they have chosen to undertake.
