On Thursday 16 May, as part of the constant control activity of the territory, the Carabinieri of the Territorial Department of the Carabinieri of Aprilia carried out a wide-ranging coordinated service for the control of the territory and for the fight against crimes against property. which, as often happens in this period of the year, are characterized by a resurgence especially in the evening hours.
The activity represents a further and exclusive tool for the Aprilia territorial department, as well as the related dependent commands, to provide an ever-increasing prevention and emergency response to the safety needs of the Aprilia community.
For this reason, the service was carried out in the evening hours and with a particular focus on those areas most exposed to the risk of predatory phenomena, without neglecting the control activities of public establishments as well as the prevention and repression of crimes linked to the phenomenon of prostitution, drug dealing and traffic control on weekends.
The service concluded with the control of 5 cars and 61 people, 5 fines to the highway code for a total of over 7,000 euros, the administrative detention of 2 cars as they did not have insurance coverage and the discovery of a stolen vehicle.
In the same context, 2 people were reported to the competent Administrative Authority for violation of the art. 75 of Presidential Decree 309/90 with the seizure of 10 grams of hashish-type narcotic substance.
