Thus, in a note, the Calabrian Democratic Party attacks the president of the Calabria Region Roberto Occhiuto, criticizing him, regarding the implementation of the Pnrr and public spending more generally, for «the bad habit of incessant propaganda, the absolute distance from facts and daily needs and a stubborn smoke to the detriment of the Calabrians, and therefore also of their own voters». «President Occhiuto – say the Calabrian dems – obsessively tells the exact opposite of what is happening, exaggerates without control and without brakes and then is blatantly contradicted by the data, such as those recently reported by President Perciaccante, representative of a large audience of entrepreneurs who invest to create jobs, incomes and widespread wealth.” «A turning point is therefore needed, because – conclude the Calabrian dems – the opportunity to finalize the resources of the Pnrr to create development and progress is also being lost. Before it’s too late, Occhiuto leave the cameras behind and get to work.”
