On Saturday 18 May, on the occasion of the European Night of Museums and the opening of the Deejay Village, the Municipality of Treviso announced new changes to parking and traffic in the city centre. Parking ban with forced removal from 8 am to midnight on Saturday on: via Santa Caterina, via Sant’Agostino, via Manzoni (in the stretch between via Case di Ricovero and via Ferrarese), piazza Borsa (motorcycle stalls), piazza San Francesco , Piazza Pio

As regards traffic, starting from 9 am on 18 May, the access to Porta Manzoni and the streets and roads relating to the area of ​​the Piazzale Burchiellati village may be closed to vehicular traffic. The diversions will be implemented on site by designated personnel and depending on the pedestrian flow in the surrounding areas. Furthermore, on Saturday 18 May the traffic restrictions in the historic centre, which are normally implemented on days before holidays and holidays, will, if necessary, be brought forward from 3.30 pm and postponed until midnight, in order to safeguard public safety and guarantee a regular and safe carrying out of the scheduled events. These are the changes to traffic and parking for Sunday 19 May, the day of the Deejay Ten, a race event promoted by the radio station Radio Deejay with departure at 9.30 am. Parking ban with forced removal in the following areas:

  • Piazzale Burchiellati: from 11pm on May 15th to 7pm on May 20th in the entire area;
  • Viale Burchiellati: from 11pm on May 17th to 7pm on May 19th in the entire area;
  • Piazza Matteotti: from 8am on May 18th to 6pm on May 19th in the entire area and also on the stalls outside the square;
  • Via Castello d’Amore (seniors center park) from 4am to 1pm on May 19th;
  • Via U. Foscolo (ex Telecom park) from 4am to 1pm on May 19th;
  • Viale Nino Bixio in the stretch from Porta Piave to Porta San Tomaso on both sides including the area of ​​the stadium curve from 11pm on 18 May to 2pm on 19 May;
  • Borgo Mazzini and Borgo Cavalli on both sides from 11pm on 18 May to 2pm on 19 May;
  • Corso del Popolo in the stretch in front of the Banco di Sondrio (via Toniolo) from 11pm on 18 May to 2pm on 19 May.

No parking along the entire race route from 1am to 12pm on May 19th on: viale F.lli Cairoli (section between Porta San Tomaso and Porta Manzoni), stalls in front of Bassanello, stalls outside Santi Quaranta, via LungoSile Mattei ( entire stretch), Largo De Gasperi, via degli Scaligeri, viale Cadorna, Corso del Popolo, Riviera Santa Margherita, Riviera Garibaldi, via dei Mille, via Carlo Alberto, via Martiri della Libertà (motorcycle stalls), via Manin, via Riccati, Borgo Cavour, via Fabio Filzi, viale C. Battisti, via G. D’Annunzio, piazza Pio , piazza San Vito, via Campana, via Sant’Antonio da Padova;

Traffic ban from 4 am to 12 pm on May 19th on the stretch of external ring road (Put) between Porta Carlo Alberto and Porta San Tomaso or Viale Jacopo Tasso Viale Nino Bixio with pre-filter to divert vehicular traffic from Viale F.lli Bandiera – From the Negro. Furthermore, vehicles will not be able to pass through the access gates to the historic center from 7am on May 19th until the need ceases (end of the event) from 9am to 11am on May 19th (from the external Put ring road towards the inner walls area). May the stretch of external ring road between Porta San Tomaso and Ponte De Fero (i.e. Viale F.lli Cairoli Viale G. Oberdan) Viale Trento Trieste (up to Ponte de Fero) with diversion pre-filters on all road axes converging with the affected Put section. The central city market will not take place on Saturday 18 May.

Shuttles Mom

For those reaching the event by car it will be possible to use the park&bus service created in collaboration with the Mom transport company. The parking lots for the Treviso Ovest area are the Park Mercato Ortofrutticolo (via Castellana) and for the Treviso Nord area the Park Sant ‘Artemio in via Cal di Breda. Shuttle buses will leave from here (every 10 minutes) to reach the departure point at the following times: the outward journey from 6.30 to 8.30 and the return from 11.30 to 13.30. In addition to this last return departure, it will still be possible to use the urban services, Line 7 to Park S.Artemio and Lines 11 and 21 to the Piazzale Pistoia stop. It will be possible to purchase the return ticket directly at the car park from Mom staff (total cost 4 Euros, for two urban tickets). The shuttles will allow you to easily reach the departure/arrival area. Two temporary stops are planned: from/to park S.Artemio in via Nino Bixio; from/to park Fruit and vegetable market in viale Cairoli. For those arriving in the days before the event or staying in Treviso, the 2 or 3 day Treviso Card tourist ticket (5 and 7 euros) is also available. The travel tickets allow you to use all urban services, including the Treviso Link shuttle to and from Canova airport.
