In Reggio Calabria with the CGIL we discuss “Metropolitan Cities: critical issues, prospects, future”

REGGIO CALABRIA – The Sala Perri of Palazzo Alvaro hosted the focus of the CGIL Public Function on critical issues, prospects and future of Italian metropolitan cities.

Also present on behalf of the organisation, who shared the organization of the important moment of study and in-depth analysis, was the metropolitan mayor, Giuseppe Falcomatàwhose reflection, in particular, focused on the risks inherent in the financial autonomy reform project, on the difficulties linked to the reduction of state contributions compared to the former Provinces, on the process of transferring the functions delegated by the Region and on the modification of the law establishing metropolitan cities, the so-called “Delrio Law”.

A passage, during the conference moderated by the general secretary of the FP Cgil Calabria, Alessandra Baldariwas then reserved for the staff shortages of the Reggio Emilia body and the process of defining the tenders for the inclusion of new figures within the organic structure, through a now imminent public selection.
