The “Ettore Pais” middle school in Olbia is the protagonist of the national “Il Tetracordo” competition

The school year ended on a high note for the students of the “Ettore Pais” of Olbia. The students brought home important awards in the national musical performance competition “Il Tetracordo”.

The middle school children, led by the head teacher Vito Gnazzo and followed by the music teachers, took part in the selection both as soloists and in orchestral ensembles.

They have obtained several prizes: Lorenzo Altera (guitar, 1st prize, 95/100), Maria Grazia Pittorru (guitar, 2nd prize, 91/100), Orchestra of the 2P class (2nd prize 92/100), Orchestra of the 3P class (II prize, 92/100), Rebecca Garau (violin, 2nd prize, 94/100), Giselda Shayani Zucca (violin, 2nd prize, 94/100), Benedetta Pintore (violin, 3rd prize 89/100).

«After having recorded a varied and captivating repertoire (from the virtuosity of Albeniz, to the funky rhythms of Stevie Wonder, passing through the timeless Vivaldian melodies), the videos were then listened to and analyzed by a jury made up of six Conservatory professors and professionals of the sector, who decreed the respective scores”, explain the teachers Louis Antonio Massa and Stefano Petrosino on guitar, Francesca Rossi and Francesco Campili on piano, Gillan Capra on percussion, Riccardo Berutti on saxophone, Alessandro Ghironi on trumpet and Giuseppe Fresi Roglia on violin.
