A “talking” receipt, but not those that allow you to deduct costs in your tax return, rather a receipt certifying the shipment of a package. This is what the Como financiers found in the pocket of one of the three stopped in Appiano Gentile during a random check: in the car they found a few grams of “grass”, but also 28,500 euros in cash and a receipt relating to a shipment of a package coming from Malaga with destination Legnano.
The yellow Larian flames sensed that something was wrong. And they immediately informed the Como Prosecutor’s Office who coordinated the investigations. Together with the dog units, the financiers first reached the shipping carrier, ascertaining the presence of the suspicious package which contained narcotics. And then they went to the recipient’s address, in Legnano.
Here, once the doorbell rang, the military posed as a courier and arrested the tenant, a citizen of Albanian origin without a residence permit and without an official job. The package contained 10 kilos of marijuana and the man, after consulting the Busto Arsizio Prosecutor’s Office, was taken to prison.
Next up, the Green Basques have searched the arrested person’s home and found further narcotic substances for a total of 20 grams already divided into sachets and ready for sale, in addition to packaging material, a digital scale, a diary, a smartphone, two SIM cards and 300 euros in cash.
The intervention of the Como Financial Police is part of the prevention and repression activities of conduct linked to drug trafficking and constitutes concrete evidence of the Corps’ daily commitment to combating the spread of drugs.
