A young man from Borgo Sabotino paid a high price for the lack of prudence with which he sat on his motorbike, ending up being hospitalized in delicate conditions in a hospital in the capital where he was transported late yesterday morning with the air ambulance, with the urgency reserved for red codes, for the consequences of a terrible fall recorded a few kilometers from his family’s home in Strada Sabotino. Not only was the speed with which he traveled along the provincial artery excessive, not commensurate with the type of road, but the two-wheeler also had no insurance coverage, so it could not circulate. These are the main violations of the highway code detected by the local police officers who intervened to investigate the dynamics.
The independent accident occurred on the stretch of Sabotino road between the intersections with Nascosa and Cerreto Alto streets. As also confirmed by a witness, a friend of the injured young man who was following him a short distance away, also on a motorbike, the nineteen-year-old suddenly lost control of his Yamaha WR 450 enduro: it is not yet clear why he skidded, the fact is that the motorcycle slipped on the asphalt, stopping about thirty meters from the point of the fall, while the young centaur was thrown into the ditch beyond the roadway.
