From 17 to 19 May our “Il Giullare” projects will be present in the North and South of the country in Festivals which, like the one we have been carrying out in the City of Trani for 16 years, continue to promote culture, bring together experiences, look at the construction of a future that implements policies that are attentive to fragile people.
The “In&Aut Inclusion and Autism” Festival dedicated to the theme of social inclusion and the work of people with autism returns to Milan after 2 years and we are proud to have been invited as representatives of good practices.
Three days of meetings: scientific debates and comparisons with the world of politics and socio-health and corporate realities dealing with autism, disability and inclusion at work. There will also be convivial moments with social catering, cultural and musical events.
The Festival, organized by “In&Aut Inclusion & Autism ETS” and sponsored by the Lombardy Region, the Municipality of Milan, the Metropolitan City of Milan, the Italian Autism Foundation and ENAC, will take place from 17th to 19th in Piazza Città di Lombardia and will host more than 60 of associations and social enterprises from 18 regions, with 31 information stands, 6 creative workshops, 10 social catering stalls: including our Cooperative for Social Promotion and Solidarity of Trani with La Locanda del Giullare.
On May 18th, during the second day of the Festival, whose focus is “Able to work”, a day in which good practices regarding inclusion and the regulations and tools necessary to increase the access of autistic people in the world of work and guarantee incentives and advantages to companies that hire, our “Il Giullare” projects will be present with:
“La Locanda del Giullare – Il RistorArte” with some of the representatives of its brigade from Piazza Mazzini in Trani will arrive at Piazza Città di Lombardia to offer in its food stand the first espressos of the Apulian tradition, cheese trios and rice, potatoes and mussels
the “Il Giullare Theater Company” which will once again stage the show “Io La Rinascita” directed by Marco Colonna at 7.00 pm on the stage of the event
Also on May 18th in Catanzaro will be the first time of the “Festival of Diversity – culture beyond prejudices” organized by the Afrodite Association. At 8.00 pm in the Politeama Theater in Catanzaro there will be an entire evening dedicated to art and disability, with testimonials, performances, artists and in which we will talk about our Il Giullare Festival and its long experience in Italy.
Approximately 25 guests, operators and volunteers will leave on Friday for Milan, and two of our representatives on Saturday for Catanzaro, not only to bear witness to a story that has continued for over fifteen years, but to be immersed and contaminated by experiences that certainly they will continue to enrich our entire reality.
