The last home match in the top flight is approaching for Stefano Colantuono’s Salernitana. Tchaouna and his teammates want to get there as best they can to try to repeat the performances, certainly more convincing even if with a clear mind, seen in the latest matches against Atalanta and Juventus. The draw at the home of the Old Lady, although now useless on an arithmetic level, still gave a pinch of morale to the Granata troops.
The preparation
Today Colantuono directed training at Mary Rosy in Pontecagnano. By necessity, these are mostly maintenance sessions in view of the break in ranks that will arrive after the match at San Siro in the last weekend of May (date and time yet to be confirmed by the Lega Serie A). Now to the Colantuono boys only two games remain and on Monday afternoon (6.30 pm) they will have theopportunity to “trip” Verona’s rivals still in the running for salvation, greeting the friendly public at the Arechi stadium. Jerome is still among the long-term patients in the infirmary BoatengKostas Manolas and Domagoj Bradaric. Their reintegration into the group starting tomorrow cannot be ruled out a priori. If so, they could also sit on the bench in the match against the Scaligeri. Andres continues training with the first team Sfait and Rocco Di Vicothe latter already called up by the Roman coach for the Allianz Stadium last week.
The presale data
In the meantime, the Granata company has communicated the data of the tickets sold in view of Salernitana-Verona on Monday afternoon. At 6pm today, Thursday 16 May, the pre-sale figure reads 2,800 spectators, of which 224 coming from Verona and the province and destined to occupy the guest sector as arranged by the National Observatory on Sports Events.
