Marchi and Gallinelli (M5S): “Yes to the CPIA and no to the CPR”

Yes to the CPIA and no to the CPR, it could be the summary of what is supported by the two candidates of the 5 Star Movement who support the candidacy for mayor of Fabio Anselmo, Marzia Marchi and Franco Gallinelli.

On Wednesday 15 May in the headquarters of the electoral committee of Anselmo, Marchi, professor of the Cpia, Center for adult education, presented a video to more than fifty people, mostly teachers, students and third sector workers. “What has been documented – they explain – is the long odyssey to which his school has been subjected, without a headquarters for a year and still without certain prospects of being able to take advantage, as a right of every state public school, of its own suitable space for learning”.

“At the moment – reported Marzia Marchi – for the next school year, there is only a verbal commitment on the part of the education councilor to provide a new headquarters located in the premises of the archbishop’s seminary”.

Speaking later, Gallinelli underlined how “this is not the only example of the political orientation of the current municipal administration: also for the compilation of the rankings for the assignment of public housing, the current council, with the motto Ferrarese first, has tried to make access difficult for immigrants, thus contributing to increasing their marginalisation”.

The commitment that the two candidates have made publicly is that, once elected, to find a dignified and adequate headquarters for the Cpia and to promote the renovation of all public housing owned by the Municipality (around 800) to encourage integration and reverse the ongoing trend towards the marginalization of migrants and vulnerable subjects.
