Following the increase in the number of inspectors assigned to Sannio, which occurred last December, there was also an increase in checks on construction sites construction workers: 75 in the first quarter of the current year. The data was announced by the director of the Territorial Labor Inspectorate Francesco Damiani in the meeting held in the Prefecture of the working table, established within the Permanent Conference by the prefect Carlo Torlontano. The INPS representative, the director of the ASL occupational health and hygiene service, the INAIL manager, the ANCE representative and representatives of the trade union organizations also took part in the summit.
The data relating to the results of the checks carried out during 2023 at 172 construction sites located in various centers in the Sannio area were examined. The data, through graphs that show the major infringements found and the regulations violated and disapplied, highlight that the main transgressions concern the failure to comply with the regulations relating to work at heights, work platforms, scaffolding and temporary works and road conditions in worksite.
