In Piedmont it is chaos hiring of nurses by Azienda Zero. And, despite the staff shortage, the only open tender could be redone. In fact, today, Thursday 16 May, came the news that last November the Piedmontese super local health authority published a notice for 226 new nurses to be employed on a permanent basis in the various Piedmontese health authorities. The tests were done in February this year but the oral exams would not have been held in public and, for this reason, two nurses appealed to the TAR.
«But really, with the urgency of hiring new healthcare personnel, one can make such sensational organizational errors, exposing oneself to administrative appeals – comments the representative dem Daniele Valle – If this were to be true, we would be in the presence of a clear inadequacy of the Zero Company even to manage a simple competition.”
The cry of alarm does not only come from politics but, as can be imagined, also from the trade unions. «We have learned in these hours that two nurses lodged an appeal complaining of irregularities in carrying out the oral tests of the regional competition for nurses announced and managed by Azienda Zero – jointly commented by CGIL, CISL, UIL, Nursid, Fials, Nursng Up -. If this were the case, Azienda Zero would have made an extremely serious mistake that would cause dramatic consequences for workers and for the entire community with the risk that the current company rankings, already established and published, could be suspended or even revoked.”
