Also this year, with the arrival of the summer season, Generazione Gela is organizing an Ecological Walk
of cleaning the Gelese coast.
Through social channels we launched a survey a few days ago to ask our community which beach they wanted to redevelop: the Lungomare area received the highest number of votes in the
near the landing pier.
The appointment is for Saturday 18 May at 4 pm under the “Wings of Freedom”,
in the car park in front of the landing pier.
This activity aims to be a moment of Active Citizenship and awareness of the community
on the issues of Environmental Sustainability, as it has been in past editions.
We ask you to bring with you friends, relatives and anyone who wants to help make the beaches dignified and welcoming. All volunteers are invited to participate in this event armed with
tools and good will and to enjoy this ecological day with us, leaving at home controversies of any kind not inherent to the spirit of the Generazione Gela initiative.
Furthermore, in order to carry out the most complete cleaning, we are appealing to anyone who can lend us a hand by providing work gloves, collection bags and pliers or any tool that can facilitate the volunteers’ task. Generazione Gela takes this opportunity to thank those who have already demonstrated their support by providing part of the necessary material.
