BRINDISI – The provincial Avis of Brindisi takes action to combat bullying and cyberbullying, increasingly frequent phenomena that put the lives and health of young people at risk. The “Coltiv@rete” project was born from the desire to raise awareness and make this topic known in depth within the community. Today each of us must be a farmer of the network and the land is the internet. A text that speaks to both children and adults, making the reader responsible and making them reflect on how the use of the internet is more real than what we expect and which can be requested from the municipal Avis.

“Avis wants to position itself – states Sergio Zezza, provincial president of Avis – as the interlocutor of an “educating community” and offer students an educational space in which to discuss, learn and reflect on the dynamics of bullying and cyberbullying, as well as the use of the internet , giving participants the opportunity to reflect on the negative consequences of certain online and offline behaviors, and acquire behaviors to actively counteract them. Through open dialogue, the sharing of experiences and the valorisation of diversity, we hope to contribute to forming aware and responsible citizens, capable of building a virtuous network of relationships based on mutual respect and solidarity, on giving of oneself and developing values of commitment and active citizenship, for the construction of a society in which young people are protagonists.”
