“It won’t be easy given that a lot of time has passed since the last official match. We took into account that the ‘temperature’ would drop slightly, but now we must try to raise the level of attention and be ready for the double date against Pro Vercelli. We pushed ourselves physically, doing a few more sessions than usual. The team also played a few friendly matches to maintain the pace of the match, but it is clear that we will face an opponent fresh from four important matches, especially on a nervous level. However, I have to congratulate the boys, they were good at playing the last few matches with the right desire and so I’m happy from this point of view. We want to repay the trust of people and society, it’s nice that the public who follows us is happy. Now we need to think about the next matches, to be faced with team spirit and sacrifice. It is an opportunity and an important moment, without forgetting the adrenaline of the result which certainly counts for a lot. I’m happy that kids can experience moments like that, they help you grow and become stronger.”
