The textual forecasts of this bulletin refer to the area represented in the map above and therefore concern the entire provinces of Asti and Alessandria and the territories of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato.
Sky: in the early foggy morning (06-09 am), followed by large clearings everywhere; sunny with slightly or partly cloudy conditions between afternoon and evening.
Rainfall: absent.
Temperatures: decreasing minimums and sharply increasing maximums; daily temperature extremes in Asti: +9°C / +23°C. Minimum temperatures anywhere between +7 and +11°C and maximum temperatures between +19 and +23°C with lower values in the Alta Langa and hilly areas bordering Liguria.
Winds: from the central hours of the day they blow from the south/south-east due to marine conditions extending to all sectors by late afternoon. Moderate intensities in Lower Alessandrino, Langhe and South Astigiano with gusts of up to 40-50 km/h on the hilly sectors, weak elsewhere.
Synoptic analysis and trend for the next few days: the variable period continues, characterized by repeated instability with rain and thunderstorms alternating with brief sunny moments. After a break in precipitation over the weekend of 17-19 May in which we will be able to enjoy a phase of more stable and drier weather, new rains and more widespread thunderstorms are expected starting from Monday 20 May.
Saturday 18 May 2024: sunny with scattered clouds; local showers and thunderstorms between late afternoon and evening (5-8pm) in Northern Astigiano and Val Cerrina. Temperatures slightly increasing: minimums of +8/+12°C and maximums of +20/+24°C.
Sunday 19 May 2024: sunny with few scattered clouds; local late afternoon/evening instability in northern Asti and Val Cerrina. Stationary temperatures: minimum of +9/+13°C and maximum of +20/+24°C.
Monday 20 May 2024: very cloudy with scattered rain and thunderstorms between afternoon and evening. Maximum temperatures slightly decreasing: minimums of +11/+14°C and maximums of +18/+22°C.
