BARLETTA – He ran away from the community to which he had been entrusted a few hours after his arrival. However, the escape lasted a few hours because the railway police officers found him and arrested him. A 15-year-old boy from Barletta ended up in prison who two days ago, together with a peer, was the recipient of a precautionary measure because he was considered the alleged perpetrator of the three thefts against the bar in Barletta station, which occurred in recent months. The two are accused of aggravated theft and receiving stolen goods and possession for the purpose of dealing drugs.
According to what we learn, the 15-year-old disappeared shortly after his arrival in the facility. The searches began immediately and the Polfer officers tracked him down at home. The juvenile court ordered his transfer to prison. The boy is in the juvenile penitentiary institute in Bari.
The two, defined as “terrible” by those who suffered their harassment, allegedly carried out the thefts using a motorbike on one occasion and a car that turned out to be stolen on another. Furthermore, they had a room available in the city center which they would use to store the stolen goods. The goods, found by the police, were then returned to the bar owner.
