5000 euros donated to six entities affected by the flood

Anticipation is mounting in Faenza for the 49th edition of the 100 km del Passatore, a competition valid for assigning the absolute national and Fidal 2024 master titles of the 100 km road specialty. Departure from Florence, in Piazza del Duomo, at 3pm on Saturday 25 May and then the long ride to Faenza. On the occasion of the presentation held today at Palazzo Manfredi, the ASD 100 km del Passatore made donations of 5000 euros each to six entities affected by the flood: ASD Oreste Macrelli, ASD Tiro a Segno Nazionale section of Faenza, Artistation School of Arts, New ASD Basketball School, ANFFAS and Avis Castel Bolognese Running School.

Less than ten days before departure there were over 3300 registered participants. Among these there are 392 competitors from Romagna (of which 180 from Faenza), 430 from Tuscany (of which 80 from Florence), 683 women, 670 debutants and over 120 athletes from 32 foreign nations. As always, numerous prizes will be awarded on the occasion of the Florence-Faenza. As regards the edition number 49, the first place winner will receive, in addition to the first prize, also the Tribunato Plaque with a dedication to the late Alteo Dolcini, one of the founders of the “Cento” and which marks the centenary of its birth. The first man and woman to cross the finish line will also be given a ceramic plate in memory of Pietro “Pirì” Crementi, who passed away in December ’21.
