An important training event organized by the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Trapani (ODCEC) was held this morning at the ITC Salvatore Calvino in Trapani. The seminar, entitled “From the idea to the innovative start-up: the NECOTIUM srls case study”, offered students a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the path of creation and development of an innovative start-up, with a specific focus on current legislation and the benefits available for new businesses. There are currently 22 start-ups registered in the special section of the Trapani business register.
Introducing the work was Giuseppe Figlioli, chartered accountant, managing director of the Odec Trapani training area.
Floriana Carlino, chartered accountant and founding partner of NECOTIUM srls, as well as President of the Artificial Intelligence and Justice Commission of the CNDCEC, opened the seminar by illustrating the regulatory framework and benefits for innovative start-ups. You offered a detailed overview of the opportunities and legal requirements for new businesses.
Giovanni De Santis, entertainment manager and founding partner of NECOTIUM srls, shared the concrete experience of NECOTIUM srls, providing direct testimony of the path from the conception of the idea to the birth of the start up. He highlighted the challenges and winning strategies that led to the success of the company.

With his speech, he offered practical insights on how to implement advanced technologies to improve the operational efficiency and competitiveness of businesses.
Floriana Carlino concluded the event with a reflection on the role of the accountant in the era of artificial intelligence, outlining the new skills and challenges that professionals in the sector must face to keep up with technological evolutions.
