Viterbo, ‘Assaggi 2024’ kicks off: from chef Ruben ‘on the balcony’ to Max Mariola

The regional excellences of taste return as protagonists with the third edition of Assaggi, il Lazio food and wine exhibition scheduled in Viterbo from 18 to 20 May 2024.

After the success of the first two editions, Assaggi returns to the Palazzo dei Papi and Piazza San Lorenzo, the historic heart of the capital of the Tusciathe best gastronomic expressions of Lazio through exhibitions, tastings and appointments of various kinds to make known the vast offer of tastes and flavors of the territory, from extra virgin olive oil to cured meats, from wine to cheeses, from pasta and baked goods to jams and nuts, passing through fruit and vegetables, meats, honey and herbal teas.

He also returns with Assaggi Outside Tastings, the “fuori salon” with collateral initiatives that offer further insight into the agri-food sector of Lazio; for the occasion, from 15 to 20 May the local businesses are organizing in Viterbo and in the centers of the province a rich calendar of themed dinners, tastings and eventsall focused on regional food and wine culture and heritage.

Tastings is organized by the Rieti-Viterbo Chamber of Commerce with the contribution of the Rome Chamber of Commerce, the Municipality of Viterbo and with the participation of the Lazio Region.
