The ‘asphalt gang’ also strikes in Ferrara. Or, rather, he would have tried to attack, but the potential victims did not fall for the scam and contacted the police. The episode in question occurred on Tuesday 14th, in Toyota Automaster dealership in via Padova.

The proposal
According to what was reported by the managers of the business themselves, during the morning a company appeared at the entrance proposal to ‘plug’ two holes in the square, with what was left over from a previous work. The same company would later report that it was operating on behalf of the Municipality of Ferrara.
The suspect
“Once we returned from the lunch break – they insist from the dealership – we found the workers busy paving our square without any authorization. After stopping them, they asked us for 1,800 euros for the asphalting, to which we responded by contacting the police, who intervened promptly”.

But the gang has already operated in nearby Veneto, reaching the point of defrauding entrepreneurs of even larger sums, from 5 thousand to 11 thousand euros. The attention of criminals is focused, in particular, on businesses managed by artisans, small managers and companies with warehouses.
