Giro d’Italia, the weather forecast for the Martinsicuro-Fano stage

Wednesday 15 May 2024: 11amto stage FOIANO DI VAL FORTORE (Benevento) – FRANCAVILLA AL MARE (Chieti)

Stage 11 of the Giro with a bit of variability in the Apennine part, but overall dry. We leave from Foiano di Val Fortore at 12:00 with only a few clouds and temperatures around 23 degrees. Scattered cloud cover until reaching the Molise coast, but without precipitation. From Casacalenda onwards the wind will be the protagonist, with an average intensity of around 15 km/h from the East, but with gusts of up to 30 km/h in the Abruzzo stretch, until the finish line. Temperatures always between 22 and 26 degrees.

Thursday 16 May 2024: 12pmto stage MARTINSICURO (Teramo) – FANO (Pesaro and Urbino)

Stage 12 with good weather in the first part, but with the possibility of brief showers right near the arrival in Fano. Departure from Martinsicuro with temperatures around 20 degrees and some low clouds, rapidly dissolving. Partly cloudy skies for much of the route. In the final stretch, from Mondolfo to Fano, increasing cloud cover, with the risk of brief local showers (probability 30%). Wind prevails especially in the second part of the route, with gusts of up to 30 km/h.
