BARI – Three intense days and a new exam passed. Bari confirms itself as an authentic point of reference for the entire movement of artisanal wine production, a sector of great importance for the Italian wine sector. Also the third Southern edition of “Vini di Vignaioli” – Puglia, held at Kismet Theaterwas a success: from the inaugural concert by Tonino Carotone to the two days of the Salone, with Sunday traditionally dedicated to enthusiasts and Monday effectively reserved for operators in the sector.

Intense days judging by the tasting and sales phase, in the name of socialization. Attentive, competent and also curious visitors stormed the stations of the over 40 producers present in Bari, representing 12 Italian regions.

To these were added, as per tradition, some food companies who proposed a winning combination, above all by virtue of the particular attention paid to the specialties of Puglia and Southern Italy. The collateral events were also interesting: for example the Masterclass which proposed the pairing of the famous Spanish ham (the well-known “Jamon”) with artisanal wines, thanks to the presence of an Iberian delegation.

The organizers did not hide their satisfaction with the new exam passed: “We had no doubts – explains Antonello Fino, one of the local organizers – that Bari and Puglia could once again be protagonists. As said many times, it is no coincidence that in our region there is a large number of producers and that in Bari, in addition to many enthusiasts, there are no less than thirty places that offer artisanal wine to their customers”. The objective now shifts to the next edition: “We will start working as soon as possible – continues Fino – starting from the suggestions and ideas that emerged in constant discussion with producers and visitors. Maybe we’ll add some new features.”

In short, the objective of the event was once again achieved: to promote the culture of artisanal wine made with traditional and non-invasive methods by winemakers who respect Nature and are aware both in the vineyard and in the cellar. All the producers present are certified organic and/or biodynamic and embrace the philosophy of ‘natural’ wine.
