Alternate one-way traffic and access ban from via Santa Caterina established
Mayor Roberto Barbagallo urges citizens to be patient for a few days: “The local police recorded some foreseeable critical issues. For the rest of the day the disruption was limited. I urge citizens to be patient for a few days and to take alternative routes. The works, according to what was communicated by Anas, should be completed on Friday 17 May”.
Please note that in recent days the local police commander Alfio Licciardello, with a specific ordinance, made changes to vehicular traffic to ensure the execution of the works:
“On 13, 14, 15 and 16 May 2024, the scarification and bituminizing works on the road surface on a section of the SS114 will be carried out. At 800 meters near the hamlet of Santa Caterina, from 07:00 to 19:00 there is a BAN ON ACCESS from Via Santa Caterina on the SS114 in both directions (Catania and Messina)”.
