We receive and publish a letter of praise from Prof. Giuseppe Ricciardo Rizzo to the Nephrology and Dialysis Department of the “Germaneto” University Hospital in Catanzaro

In a Calabria where everything “would never work enough” and where negative records are accumulating, in almost all sectors of the Economy and Finance, finally some signs of hope emerge for any possible reversal of trend: …I found myself, for contingent reasons and of urgent necessity, to be part of many other patients, at the University Structure of the “Germaneto” Polyclinic of CZ and with surprise, amazement and wonder, to be able to personally verify that at least the Nephrology and Dialysis Department, not only met my professional expectations, but also and above all for the welcome and respect for the human dignity of the person that I found on the part of all the Medical and Paramedic staff!
…almost moved, I feel the need to publicly thank, hoping that other sectors that are blamed can also draw the necessary conclusions to avoid the traditional flight to the North, …even of capital!
…so, albeit late, Calabria also has its excellence in public healthcare, which must be valorised and offered to many Calabrians, who rightly have every right to expect to be treated in their own land of origin and/or residence. I am grateful for the quality of care and above all for the human relationships which are often no less effective than the therapy itself.
After all, after the sad experience of over twenty years of various commissionerships, the new Calabrian Governor was probably able to take the most appropriate and indispensable measures for the recovery of professional ethics and the entire Calabrian healthcare structure! …
Facts and not words! …at least in healthcare!
