Municipal elections, “close” back and forth between Stasi and Straface

CORIGLIANO ROSSANO The electoral campaign officially begins in Corigliano-Rossano in view of the local elections on 8 and 9 June. This evening, at 7.40 pm on L’altro Corriere TV (channel 75)the first public confrontation will be held between the two candidates for mayor Flavio Stasi and Pasqualina Straface which, in fact, will inaugurate the electoral content campaign at Echo Livethe talk hosted by Marco Lefosse.
After the news related to the recusal of the candidacy of Domenico Piattello who was judged ineligible by the electoral commission, the game for the next electoral competitions will therefore be two-way. Both candidates will discuss major issues for the first time – publicly – and will offer us their vision of the city for the next five-year period 2024-2029. Previously the two had repeatedly refused the comparison, even when they did not hold their current public positions.
In these first face-to-face meetings we will discuss the major issues to try to understand which directions will guide the programming and the proposals that the candidates will soon present to voters. Deliberately omitted – for now – are the purely administrative and management events which will find ample space in subsequent discussions.

This first, long-awaited confrontation comes after excited weeks. Many arrows have been fired by both sides in view of the electoral campaign, showing, with their cards more or less exposed, the salient features of what will be a lively and intense competition.
