It is hardly necessary to highlight how the Department for Sport of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers had allocated a tender for Sport with a deadline of October 2023 for municipalities with less than 100,000 inhabitants, which provided for the distribution of €75,000,000 for the construction and regeneration of sports facilities intended for competitive activity, and the completion and adaptation of existing sports facilities, intended for national and international competitive activity. The Municipality of Pesaro did NOT submit any application for participation. There is currently a further tender, issued by the Institute for Sports Credit (ICS) “Sport Missione Comune 2024” which aims to support the redevelopment and energy efficiency interventions of sports facilities also connected to the PNRR projects, and Pesaro could benefit from as much as 4 million euros, but from information received the Municipality of Pesaro has not made any request for participation.
