They had targeted a commercial business inside the Barletta train station, carrying out three thefts. During the last one, dating back to last February, they removed a large part of the goods and caused serious damage to the structure itself. For this reason, the Barletta Railway Police officers implemented a precautionary measure against two minors.

Coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Juvenile Court of Bari, the investigations made it possible to reconstruct the entire dynamics of the crime and in a short time to identify the perpetrators, in addition to the recovery of the entire stolen goods and the car used by the same perpetrators to reach the station and disappear immediately after the theft. In fact, after a previous info-investigative activity, the agents learned that the minors were using a room used as a warehouse for the stolen material, which was then returned to the owner of the business.

The investigations into the two minors, already reported several times to the Judicial Authority for other crimes, have made it possible to outline the individual criminal responsibilities so that the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Juvenile Court of Bari accepted the requests from the Public Prosecutor, in charge of the investigations, for the issuance of a precautionary measure for placement in two different communities for minors at the disposal of the Judicial Authority. Both will have to answer for aggravated theft and conspiracy to receive stolen goods as well as possession for the purpose of dealing drugs.
