A ferocious beating in the street, under the windows of the terraced houses in the neighborhood, home to dozens of families. The screams and blows, then the police and ambulance sirens. It was a decidedly eventful night between Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th May, experienced by the residents of Via Michelangelo in San Polo.
Two against one
It was they who raised the alarm, around 11.30pm on Monday evening, thus avoiding much worse consequences for the victim of the brutal attack: a 20-year-old of foreign origin, but born and raised in the Brescia area. Two against one: the young man would have been kicked and punched, suffering numerous bruises. He was admitted to the Brescia civil hospital, under yellow code: he will be fine.
Found some knives
It could have even been worse given that several knives were found on his attackers, also in their 20s. The two young people were stopped by the officers of the Flying Department (4 crews intervened) and then reported, at large, for aggravated injuries. The investigations of the Police Headquarters will shed light on the matter: it seems that the three knew each other, but the reasons for the argument which degenerated into a crazy beating are still to be clarified.
