«There was no consensus on the transition to the third term, which I thought was right if an administrator has done a good job. Only the League was in favor. I take note. Regarding what happens after Zaia, I have already identified a dozen possible candidates, men and women capable of maintaining the good management of this region. The League boasts excellent figures and valid administrators.” This is what was stated by the Minister of Infrastructure and secretary of the League Matteo Salviniwho spoke at 95th Alpine Gathering underway on Sunday 12th in Vicenza. The party leader revealed that he already had other options in mind for the post-Zaia post.
Potential Northern League successors
The issue is not new. In reality, the leaders of the Northern League have been wondering for some time about possible candidates for the continuation of the Venetian regional administration. Third mandate: discussion closed, Zaia’s response
The secretary of the League now considers it over the discussion on the third term.
