New Board elected at the Vespa Club L’Aquila in the year of its seventieth anniversary. Celebrations at Palazzo Margherita with the special philatelic postmark from Poste Italiane.
The Vespa Club L’Aquila is pleased to announce that the renewal of the board of directors took place during the members’ meeting held on the evening of Friday 10 May 2024. The following were elected: Leonardo Santuccireconfirmed president, Silvio Di Luziovice president, Alessandro Iannonesecretary, Andrea Piermarocchi, Giorgio Sebastiani, Tiziano Colella, Tommaso Murriadvisors.
The Association, which this year celebrates its 70th anniversary, in 2023 it remained involved in the sports and tourism championships, where the riders excelled at a regional level and obtained top placings at a national level, receiving important sporting awards for the first time in history where the myth of the Vespa was born, in Pontedera. Furthermore, significant initiatives were organized in the area, among which the Audax del Gran Sasso should be mentioned, which attracted over 300 Vespa enthusiasts from all over Europe to our roads. Now, with a strong desire to build on what has already been achieved, the new management is committed with renewed enthusiasm to promoting inclusion through a passion for two wheels, to supporting sporting activity and to enhancing the tourist and historical heritage of our city and the surrounding area.

The Vespa Club L’Aquila invites all interested parties to celebrate its 70th anniversary on Saturday 18 May 2024, in the courtyard of Palazzo Regina Margherita, from 9 am, where a show photography and an exhibition of vintage Vespas, with the participation of the Italian Post Office for a special philatelic cancellation dedicated to the event, and at the end a Vespa ride with the kids from the Special Olympics Italia – Team L’Aquila.
