VITERBO – On Saturday 11 May at the San Leonardo Theater in Viterbo, the Band Battisti Legend with the concert dedicated to Lucio Battisti, one of the greatest Italian singer-songwriters, left a musical heritage that is still relevant today.

Battisti maintained: “I conceive of music as a way to be able to renew oneself, to find new stimuli, so as not to become boring, heavy to carry on”

And this is what the band, with twenty years of experience, celebrates that creativity that Battisti put into his songs, offering a concert of indelible memories and strong emotions.

Roberto Pambianchi, the group’s strongman, recognized as one of the singer’s most authentic voices, with David Forti on keyboards, Davide Papaleo on guitars, Alberto Biasin on bass and Gabriele Morcavallo on drums, interpreted the singer-songwriter’s most beautiful songs for about three hours .

“You come back to my mind”, “Anna”, “A woman as a friend” “The gardens of March”, “Emotions”, “Thoughts and Words” just to name a few.

The audience greatly appreciated the songs proposed, so much so that from the first notes, they joined Pianbianchi’s voice with choirs, applause and ovations.

The concert ended with “Un’avventura”, a song with which Lucio Battisti participated in the Sanremo Festival in 1969.

A rhythm & blues motif that is over 50 years old, involves, excites, confirming the originality of its musical proposals.
